Phil Combs
A three-sport standout in football, basketball and track, Phil was all-league in football two years and an alternate for the annual East-West Shrine Game. He was a Jackson County Basketball All-Star after being the top scorer on the 18-0 district champion basketball team. In track he was district champion in the 220-yard dash and the 100-yard dash and finished first in the long jump in the Jackson County B League Championship. He earned the Talent High School Outstanding Achievement awards in football and basketball.
