Maryl Barker
Maryl won three State titles in the mile and another in the 800-yard run before graduating from PHS in 1971 and heading to the University of Oregon where she become the first U of O female athlete to run the mile in under five minutes (a feat she accomplished several times during her career). She finished fourth at the AIAW National Cross Country Meet and sixth in the mile at the national meet.
