The Skyline Conference is one of the best in the state for girls basketball. The Phoenix Pirates continue to find out why.
Host Mazama wasted little time flexing its muscle, rolling up a 29-8 lead after one quarter on the way to a 70-20 win over the Pirates on Friday night.
Delani Parent scored nine points while Bella Lopez added five for PHS (3-14 overall, 0-4 in conference play). The Pirates return to action Friday, visiting Klamath Union.
