The Phoenix volleyball team completed its “trips over the hill” on Thursday, bringing home another victory.
PHS improved to 2-1 against Klamath Falls schools, sweeping a three-set match at Klamath Union, 26-24, 25-23 and 25-13. The Pirates improved to 4-3 in Skyline Conference play and continue to hold down third place, two wins ahead of both North Valley and KU.
Sofia Tringolo led the PHS offense, distributing 28 assists while middle hitters Avery Reneau and Katelyn Hanson both had 10 kills and two blocks.
Phoenix (8-9 overall) returns to action Tuesday, visiting conference leader Hidden Valley.
